Our story and mission

Isaac Casal

“I had the priviledge to study music abroad and to play with the excellent Youth Orchestra of Americas in the world top music halls and at renowned international classical music festivals. This was a life changing experience. Then it dawned on me that no such a festival existed at the time in Panama and I decided to create one, to give to others what I didn’t have during my early musical education.“

| Our vision

To create oportunities for the development of classical
music in harmony with the values of inclusion, equality, and excellence.

| Our mision

To be a platform for the education, creation,
interpretation, and appreciation of classical music.

The launch of the international classical music festival Alfredo de Saint Malo became a starting point for a holistic vision of the new educational and artistic platform for Panama.

FUNSINCOPA’s ultimate goal is to impact as many people as possible, regardless of their economic status, to rise the new generations of musicians and music lovers, to give professional musicians in Panama creative impulses and networking opportunities and to promote Panama‘s role in the classical music scene in Central America and beyond.
